Gwen is the owner and founder of Elevate Bookkeeping LLC, where she helps business owners build strong financial structures by working as their fractional CFO. As WiSH's Accounting team, she oversees the organization's financial operations and supports its long-term sustainability. She has been in the bookkeeping/accounting field for the last 25 years and has owned her business for the last 17 years.

Gwen is the mother of two young daughters who are in middle and high school. With one daughter currently looking at colleges, she understands how daunting the process can be. While Gwen is not in a STEM field, she’s excited to support the sciences and this cause because she is passionate about helping young women reach their full potential.

What do you wish someone would have told you when you were in high school?

I wish someone had told me things didn’t need to be so hard, and that there were people willing to help me with my education. I didn’t come from a supportive home, and I didn’t have anyone to look up to. It would’ve helped save me from a lot of suffering if I had access to other women who could show me a better/easier path forward.
