Dr. Zoe Veritas is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Veritas graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music, earning both a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She went on to graduate first in her class from Drexel University College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received multiple academic distinctions.

She completed her residency and chief residency at New York Medical College and contributes to training dermatology residents. Dr. Veritas also holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Attending physician at Mt Sinai, where she contributes to the training of dermatology residents.

In addition to her clinical and academic work, Dr. Veritas is committed to supporting initiatives that expand access to education and opportunity. As a board member of WiSH, she provides guidance and lends her support to the organization’s mission of empowering young women pursuing careers in science and healthcare.

What do you wish someone would have told you when you were in high school?

That a career in medicine is even more enjoyable than I’d hoped. I am one of the lucky ones in life who gets to enjoy going to work!
